Geraldine Lyons, who was affectionately known as Deannie, was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 25, 1960 to Alex Hicks Sr. and Eddie Mae Hicks. She passed from this life to eternal rest on December 26, 2020.
Geraldine graduated from Scott High School and went on to pursue her education at The University of Toledo. For several years, Geraldine worked at the Chrysler Jeep Factory. Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, cooking and dancing to music around the house. To know her is to know her love for family.
Geraldine was proceeded in death by father, Alex Hicks Sr., mother, Eddie Mae Hicks, sisters, Doris Jean Jones, Mary Ann Hicks, Cynthia Hicks-Noble, brothers, William Hicks, Alex Hicks Jr., David Hicks, and Paul Hicks.
Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories, daughters Kourtnee (Don) Daniel and Bree Lyons. Granddaughters Anajia Mae Lonas and R'Moni Gaines. Brothers: Larry Hicks, Pastor Delbert (Cecilia) Hicks. Sisters: Corrine McCloud, Ramona Savage, Alexis Marie Nicholson and Deborah Pearson. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
