Obituary for Georgia Mae Trigg

Our Matriarch, Mother Georgia Mae Trigg, age 91, transitioned into Heaven on Wednesday March 17th, 2021 in her home surrounded by her beloved family.

Georgia attended Miami Jacobs College where she received her degree in P.N. Successively, she was a Registered Nurse for many years at Toledo Hospital. Her passion for patient care continued beyond retirement, working as a Phlebotomist for over 10 years and then as a Private Care Nurse up until her permanent retirement.

She was a faithful and devoted member of True Vine Baptist Church in Toledo, OH for over 50 plus years. While at True Vine, she was on the Trustees Board, Mother’s Board, in the choir, and the President of the Pastor's Aid Ministry. Mother Georgia sang in the Toledo Mass Choir and was one of the original members of The Toledo Interfaith Mass Choir for many years. She received numerous awards, one being The Hidden Warriors Award for all her work and dedication. She was also a faithful and devoted member of Greater Dreams Church, founded by her loving grandson Bishop Larry (Regina) Mack. She received a Certificate of Appreciation in 2017 and remained devoted until the very end.

Mother Georgia Trigg wore countless hats and her passion and good works shined through in everything she touched. In her spare time, she truly, genuinely loved talking with family and friends and even strangers! She also loved posing for the camera and displaying her everlasting beauty every chance she could!
