Gabriel Bashawn Phillips was born on November 21, 2019 in Toledo, Ohio to Jaquail and Crystal Phillips. He passed away on February 5, 2021 at Toledo Children's Hospital. learned to walk. One of his favorite things to do was eat. He loved all kinds of food. Gabe loved to be around his siblings. Now that he could walk, he was right behind them, getting into everything. He was the youngest of eight.

He was preceded in death by his big brother, Ahmir Phillips; his uncle, Bryan Watson, his granddad, Torrance Hackett; great grandparents, Curtis and Virgie Hicks; and great grandpa, George Evener.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Jaquail and Crystal Phillips; brothers, Adrian, Ashton, Zaiden, and Julien; sisters, Madalynn and Gracieana; aunts and uncles, Chequila (Zae), Shon'Quisha, Jarvis, Marybeth, Bobbi Jo, Brandy, Jessica, Catrina, and Dustin; and a host of cousins and family.
