He will be missed by everyone that knew him. He looked at everyone like family. Once he fed you, you became family He was very big on family. If you lived out of town, he made sure to call call you on a daily basis. He also liked to fix things and grow fruits, vegetables and plants. He helped everyone he knew. He was just that type of person. He will never be forgotten.

When Freddie came to Toledo, he met his first and only love, Juanita (Stewart) Smith Jackson, and she gave him one of the best things a woman could give a man, life, Freddie Jackson Sr., their only son, along with daughters, Monique Smith, Catrina Smith, Destiny McBribe, Vickie Jackson, Denise Jackson, and Evelyn "Faye" Withacker.

Freddie was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Jackson; father, John Jackson Sr.; mother, Nellie Bouyer Jackson; brother, Willie Daniels; brother, John Nathaniel Jackson; and sister, Hellen Jackson.
