Obituary for Frances R Reed
Frances R. Reed passed away on January 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 19, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, to the union of Robert and Linda Kay Bonds-Reed. Frances was the third oldest of their six children.
Frances's mother, Linda, moved to Toledo, Ohio where Frances attended the Toledo Public School District, where she met and made memories with a lot of folks. She soon met the love of her life, William Sneed. Though she had three children of her own, from their union came nine more children.
Frances worked a few jobs throughout her her life, but her most loved position was being a "Mother". She gave birth to 12 of her own little army, but she mothered and loved on many that didn't have or just needed the extra love that only a true mother could give. The joy and love that she gave was pure, genuine and without judgment, but definitely unconditional. Things that Frances loved and enjoyed the most were being around her family, her husband, their children, and her grandchildren. They were her world. Being "Babe" was one of her favorite titles.
Frances was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents, her aunt, her uncle, cousins, and her dear friend, Paula.
Left to cherish Frances's memory is her husband, William; her children, Steven (Jamaal), Maurice (Heather), Shatara (Ryan), William Jr.(Anastacia), Sidney (Tiffany), Shanice (Matthew), Kamani (Evelyn), Kadeen (Arionna), Shanell (Da'Chawn), Kwame (Taylor), Keshawn (Shelby), and Shatera (Malik); 20 grandchildren; four brothers, a sister, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. A special thanks to Kathy and Sheila.
