Obituary for Edna Louis Manns
On Tuesday August 28, 1945, the Lord granted favor to Charlie Mae (Parker) and Allen Louis Fields by the birth of a beautiful baby girl that they named Edna Louis Fields.
Edna was a sweet child with the voice of an angel. She was always obedient and was a good student.
Edna spent 35 years as a teller and ended her career as bank branch manager at National City Bank. She was an avid reader and was a very productive Avon Salesperson. Through Avon she met many wonderful friends. Edna Manns faithfully served for many years as Church secretary at Ebenezer Baptist church.
In 1963 Edna was united in marriage to Larry Manns who preceded her in death. Larry and Edna were the parents of Alesia Alexander, Tracy (Andre) Woodson, Allen (Tracy) Fields, Larry Manns, Jr. and Brian Manns all of Toledo, Ohio
Edna went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 18. 2021.
Waiting at heaven's gate to greet her are her husband, her parents and her only brother, Thomas Alexander and many others who rejoice at her arrival at the Father's House.
Edna leaves to cherish fond memories, her children, two sisters, Mattie Fields Holloway and Allie Fields of Halls, TN. Sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who will always remember her with a smile.
