Mrs. Dorothy McDuffey was born on September 26, 1934 in Lambert, Mississippi to Bea and Jeffery Hines. She went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2020.
She was a loving and caring mother who put God first in her life. She loved to fish after retiring from St. Vincent Hospital after 25 years of service. She attended the River of Life Church. She loved to praise and worship her Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard McDuffey; mother, Bea Chambers; father, Jeffery Hines; sons, William, Charles and Sol McDuffey, and Richard Carter; daughter, Teen McDuffey; grandson, Wardell Lawson Jr.; sister, Rosezen Allen; and son-in-law, Mickey McGhee.
Left to celebrate her life and cherish her memories are her daughters, Chris McGhee, Sara Lawson, Bobby McKinney, Mary Porter, Gwendolyn and Kathie McDuffey; sons, Joe, Curtis, Vivin T. McDuffey; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
