Obituary for Dorothy Jean Ballard
Ms. Dorothy Jean Ballard, 83, of Toledo, OH, passed this life on Sunday, March 29, 2020. She was born December 17, 1936, t0 Freddie Mae Fletcher and James E. Armstrong, both proceeded her in death.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, but was under watch care at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio. She was employed as a healthcare worker for many years. She enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. She was dearly loved and had friends of all ages. Her doors were always opened and everyone was always welcomed.
She was also proceeded in death by her sisters, Anna Mae Fletcher-Wyatt and Joyce Marie Fletcher. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Valencia Renae Stephens (Steve), Latha Coley (Vernon), Selena Ballad, Yolanda Bell; and sons, Charles Ballard Jr., Steven Ballard (Toni). She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
