Obituary for Diane Marie Flunder
Diane Marie Flunder, was born, February 7, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio. She departed this life unexpectedly on, January 15, 2020, at the age of 64.
Diane was the eighth of eleven children born to Robert and Bobbie Flunder. She was baptized at an early age. She attended the Toledo Public Schools. Diane worked in the dietary department of the Lucas County Jail and in the housekeeping department at several downtown Toledo hotels.
Diane was a very outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially loved playing cards and dominoes and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She loved her soap operas, cowboy and western and cooking shows.
Diane was preceded in death by both parents, sister, Eunice Witcher, and brother, James Flunder.
She leaces to cherish her memory, sons, Anthony (Delmera) and Alexander Flunder and Deandrae Bowen; daughter, April (Leonard McIntosh) Flunder; brothers, Robert (Beverly), Michael, Jack (Lois), and Tony (Selena) Flunder; sisters, Bobbie Hornbeak, Patricia Snipes of Lancaster, California, Betty Baucom, and Linda (Artis Smith) Hill; grandchildren, Ara-Sha, Lamarian, Latelle, LaShawn and Lenord MaIntosh; Dahkeya and Mashia Flunder; Kalija Miller, Deandrae Bowen, Jr., Tyelmera and Delmera Flunder; sister-in-law, Dawn Flunder; special friend, Arthur Ray Simmons and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pmat The House of Day Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020, at 11:00 am, preceded by a 10:00 am Wake, at The House of Day Funeral Service, Pastor Floyd Smith officiating.
