Obituary for Diane S. Bonner
Diane Shirley Bonner was born from the uniting of Elizabeth (Robinson) and Joseph Bonner, Sr. on August 8, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio. She was called home peacefully to glory, by Our Father on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home on Torrington Drive.
Raised in a Christian home she attended Bibleway Temple Church on Collingwood Ave. with her family during her early childhood years and her young adult life.
Diane attended Toledo Public Schools including Rogers High School, Class of 1978. She was employed by a few local companies here in Toledo; her last place of employment for a number of years was the Provo Market in Toledo's Old West End area, until her health prevented her from working.
As a loving daughter she cared for both her parents during their illnesses, at their home on Torrington Dr. for several years until their homegoing. She was a proud mother of a beautiful daughter Latisha Denise who preceded her in death. Diane was also preceded in death by her brother Kenneth, affectionately known as Kenny.
Diane enjoyed decorating her home, taking care of her family and enjoying life.
Her recent pastime entertainment included watching television game shows, solving the puzzles, faster than the contestants, and working on a variety of jigsaw puzzles.
Diane leaves to cherish her memory, sister Mrs. Ollie Thomas; brother Mr. Steve Bonner, her special friend and loving caregiver Mrs. Georgia Bolton, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
