DeWayne Guynes A.K.A. Abdul Shakur and G-Man, of Toledo, Ohio, was born March 9, 1951, to the union of R. G. and Sarah Guynes.

DeWayne parted this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, R. G. and Sarah Guynes, brothers, Rubin, Douglas and Reginald Guynes.

DeWayne leaves to cherish his wife, Rodina Wilkes; daughter, Karen (Jermain) Potts; brother, Kenneth (Janell) Guynes; sisters, Barbara Gregory, Latunda Rutherford and Sharonda Brown; granddaughters, Iesha and Crinesha Bradford, Shominique Ham, and Chrishayla Duncan; special granddaughter, Haley; grandsons, Jermain, Jeremiah and Josiah Potts; nieces, Tina Griggs, Tiffany, Alisha, Felecia, Dyondra Guynes, Tabitha (Rethan) Colbert, and Kanesha Newkirk; nephews, Jajuan Rutherford, David (Marquisha) Pate; and sister-in-law, Ethel Hayes; and a host of loving relatives and kind friends.
