Mrs. Desi "Sister" Robbins-Thomas, the daughter of Alex Jr. and Hester Robbins (Anderson), who preceded her passing. Also preceding her passing, her baby brother, Wayne Robbins, her nephew, Fitzgerald Adrian Robbins (KG), and her sister-in-law, Ruby Robbins.

Desi was born February 9,1962 in Bessemer, Alabama. At a tender age the Robbins family relocated to Toledo, Ohio. In 1980 Desi Received her High School Diploma from Morrison R. Waite H.S. Anyone who knew Desi knew that she loved the Lord, and she was a very hard worker, holding various positions as a STNA, factory worker and housekeeper. She enjoyed spending time with her "sister/friends" April Fitzpatrick, Clairita King, Bridgette Burns, and Carlotta Wortham. Once her grandchildren and great grandchildren started to be born she she dedicated all her time to them. Desi lived her life to the fullest and she will be missed.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughters, Veleria (Bob) Duboise, and Christina(Nolan, Jr.) Battle ; her sons, Quinton Thomas, Glen (Tambria) Thomas and Roger Craig Jr. ; her step son, Ronni Thomas, Jr.; and step daughters, Tiesha Thomas, Vonnie Thomas and Tina Thomas; her baby sister, Evelyn Robbins; brothers, Gerry, Fitzgerald "Chief" (Trina), Zachery "Zike" and Russia; 11 grandchildren, Jerome Hornbeak, Sr., Evelyn Wright, Trae'Shaun Battle, Taveyonne Battle, Alex Duboise, Kyrell Craig, Jayanna Craig, Josiah Craig, Lorenzo Thomas, Dezirae Thomas and Phoenix Thomas; 3 great grandchildren, Jerome Hornbeak, Jr., Kamani Sneed, Jr., Kay'Lynn Sneed and a new baby boy coming very soon; Goddaughter Charline Williams-Smith; Godson, Antonio Simmons Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
