Obituary for Dennison Bowen III (Bowen)

Dennison Bowen III "Mann" son of Dennison Bowen Jr. and Rutha Lee Bowen was born September 4, 1980 in Toledo, Ohio. He received his G.E.D. in 2011 and went on to obtain his Certificate of Welding in 2012 from Owens Community College. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church, where he was joined by all his family.

Mann lived his life as a protector, a giver and most importantly making sure his children, grandchildren, Bethany Crampton, mom & dad, and siblings were all taken care of; his family was his everything. He was the one to get anyone out of their feelings because he was going to make sure he put a smile upon your face. With his "rap skills" and "dancing" he set out to make sure everyone had a great time. Mann loved his profession as a welder and had a great time being a mechanic. He was the most "Realest" man we knew. He kept a Ford truck of some sort because he always said, "he felt the need for speed". A true country boy at heart. Mann departed his life on Monday, June 22, 2020 in Toledo, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennison Bowen Sr., grandmothers, Louise Bowen, and Mary L. Henry, and sister Denise Bowen.

His short life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children, Darius Harmon, Ramisha Bacon, Ravin Sandoval, Marcus Bowen, Felicia Crampton, Dennison Bowen IV, John Bowen, and Manisha Bowen (unborn), granddaughters, Mylaia Kynard and Piper Reaume. He will always and forever be missed by his siblings, Tomisha Henry, Talona Henry, Deanna Bowen, Timothy Bowen (Maddie), and Sherina Bowen and special friends, Varon Austin, Jessica Bartlett; his devoted nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, a host of cousins and friends.
