Obituary for Denise Arvonia Laster
Denise Arvonia Laster, departed this life on, August 21, 2020, at the age of 68. She was born on, October 7, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, to Lloyd and Aurelia Laster.
The family lived in Detroit, Michigan until Denise's Junior year in high scholl, when they moved to Toledo, Ohio, where she lived out the rest of her years. She graduated from Scott High School in 1968.
Denise was raised in a working and loving home with both parents and one sibling, Tony and sometimes with family from Detroit.
Denise accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She loved to watch fooball games and basketball games with her brother Tony. She also loved to spend time with family and friends, especially with her kids and grandkids and great grandkids. They would sit up on Friday nights and have good ole laughs, cracking on each other and Denise would have jokes for days.
She lived a good life, she enjoyed everyone that crossed her path. If you really knew her, then you knew she would give her last to help the next, who she felt needed it more than she did. Denise loved and raised many children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Aurelia Laster; stepmother, Gloria Laster; brother, Lloyd Laster, Jr., and granddaughter, Jamya "Chicken" Bryant.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, William and Darnell Bryant; daughters, Sharonda and Yolanda Laster; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, all of Toledo; niece, Aurelia; nephew, Lloyd Laster, III, both of Fort Wayne, IN; best friend, Linda Foreman, and a host of cousins and extended family.
Denise will always be loved, missed and never forgotten.
