Auntie Cindy-Lu! When I think of you I laugh, laugh, and laugh. You were a character Full of life, zest, and vitality. You were a strong single black mother. You held it down and around! You took care of ALL of us at one time or another. I'm your First niece;
So, I'd like to think I got some of the Best of You.
As a little girl You combed my hair, dressed me up, fed me, and took me places. As a pre-teen I loved staying at your house babysitting Joey and Tone. I will never forget how you played Luther Vandross loudly and repeatedly. You said he sure could sing but if he visited you, he'd have to sing through the door! LOL. Later on you Loved Jaheim, you said if he visitied, HE could come in! LOL
We watched the guiding light and cried when love was lost.
We share the passion for roller skating like champs.
As a woman you became a friend and confidant. You gave me tips and techniques on motherhood and life as a whole. I knew I could share private things with you and they would stay. We were in college simultaneously; YOU inspired ME to take my first online class. I was nervous about it. You said Meek Squeak, if I can take and pass one, surely you can. And I DID! We both fall under the sign of Scorpio. That connected us even more. You understood me and I understood you. Your life's journey has ended; It was a full one. God has layed thee down to rest. Now enjoy the Peace, Love, and Tranquility.
As you would Say, BYE NOW Auntie CindyLU. Love Always, Your First Niece, Meek Squeak
