Mr. Clarence Gillard was born on November 1, 1926, in Ousley GA to the union of Geneva and Ernest Gillard. Clarence passed this life on April 14, 2020 at Flower Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Annie L. Gillard; parents; sister Pearl Allen; brothers, Edward, Leonard, Frank, Frederick, Sr., and Bobby (infant) Gillard; sons Clarence Jr, Lawrence Sr and Ronald (infant) Gillard; grandchildren James Anthony Gillard, Ashley, Allen Jr and Dominique King.
Clarence is an honorably discharged veteran of WWII, from the United States Navy. He was a dedicated employee of Farewell Cheeks Steel in Sandusky OH until his hiring at Libbey Owens Ford in Rossford OH; where he retired in 1991.
He leaves to cherish his memories sons, Bobby Sr., Duane, Joseph (Kim), Willie, Mark (Joyce) and John (Beth) Gillard; daughters, Lucille Gillard and Evelyn Gillard-Jackson (Toney), Sharon Hightower (Romel) and Lisa Gillard-Gamble (Daniel); 29 grand, 27 great and 2 great-great grandchildren.
