Christine Marion Stanton was born May 8, 1941 to Sidney and Ella Mae Moore in Greenwood, Mississippi, however, she resided in Toledo, Ohio since she was a child. She worked for Devilbiss ITW for 20 years and Parkcliffe Elderly Community for 20 years. Christine enjoyed cooking for her family, loved shopping, writing and talking on the phone. She was a very present and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother.
Christine was a believer in God and His Word. She was an active member of Morning Star Baptist Church since the 1940s, then she spent her last five years at Union Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her brothers, Sidney Moore Jr., Edmond Moore, Edward Moore, Melvin Moore, and her sister, Katie Cole.
Christine leaves us to mourn her, her husband, Albert Sylvester Stanton; her daughter, Alesia (Jaleo) Young; her sons, Wade Baker and William Baker; seven grandchildren, William Baker Jr., Kevin Baker, Erica Baker, Nakita Baker, Laila Stanton, Ja'Mya Barbour, and Tanieya Baker; her five great grandchildren, Jasmine, Nena, Cymone, Eric, and London; and of course her favorite "grand-doggy", Jewel. She is survived by five siblings, her brothers, Eddie (Eva) Moore, Perry (Rose) Moore; sisters, Jerline (Herbert) Scott, Gloria (Christopher) Latimer, and Geneva (Melvin) Kinnebrew.
