Obituary for Casandra D. Hopkins

Casandra D. Hopkins 60 of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 1, 2020.

Casandra affectionately known as "Sandy" was born April 5 1959 to Gloria Hopkins and Juan Wingard.

Sandy attended DeVilbiss High School where she later graduated in 1977. She was a member at The Ark Of Toledo under The leadership of Bishop Nolan White.

Sandy was an employed as a dietary cashier of The Toledo Hospital. She later was employed with Buckeye Cable System where she worked as a customer service representative for many years. She retired in 2018

Sandy, a fashion icon, jazzy, sharp and witty. She loved to travel and shop all over the US places like Chicago, New York, Detroit, and especially Las Vegas. She had a way of shedding light, and uplifting some of the heaviest burdens. Some may call her an angel in disguise. Her nurturing spirit invited many and turned away none. To her family and dear friends she was the rock of life and will truly be missed.

Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Gloria, father Juan, her twin granddaughters Rhilee & Rhilyn Moreland. Surviving are her son Kejuan D. Bryant & daughter Ieesha D. Smith bonus daughter Dionna L. Smith grandchildren Keonn, Shartice, Keanon, Javion, Kaila, Kelsie bonus grandchildren Anthony Jr & Nolan. Sister Yolanda “Lonnie” Hopkins, brother Samuel “Cooley” Hopkins (Lisa) & sister Dawn Hopkins, brother Juan Wingard and a host of nieces and nephews and best friend Ruby Nolan
