Obituary for Betty Jean Knowles
Betty Jean Knowles, of Toledo, Ohio, was carried away by the Angels to her place of rest on January 4, 2020.
She was born Betty Jean Pegues on July 25, 1932 in Beloit, WI. She graduated from Carver High School in Tupelo, MS, married Walker Knowles in 1953, and had three sons. She retired from Toledo Hospital. Betty was a long time member of Braden United Methodist Church who loved singing in the choir. She travelled the straight and narrow path; loving and laughing all the way.
Betty was preceded in death by: son Gregory Knowles, husband Walker Knowles, and son Michael Knowles.
She leaves to celebrate her home going: son Robert Knowles, granddaughter Shonika Knowles, grandson Michael Knowles Jr., sisters Catherine Hughes, Jimmy L. Bradley, and Martha S. Braddy, niece Gail Nash, great-nephew Raymond Smith, and a host of family and friends.
