Obituary for Alice Portillo-Hicks

Alicia "Alice" Portillo Hicks, was born to the union of Raymond and Angelita Portillo, on May 5, 1944, in Warren, Ohio.

Alice moved to Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 8, with her parents, where she attended Mt. Vernon Elementary School, Robinson Jr. High School and Scott High School. After leaving high school, Alice married at the age of 18 and became a homemaker. She took pride in raising her 7 children and cooking for her family as well as her extended family and friends.

Alice absolutely loved palaying bingo and cards as her past time. She was know at every bingo hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Patrick and Ramone Portillo, sisters, Francis Lopez, Siberia Villolovos and Minnie McKitric, as well as her youngest son, Deontre' R. Hicks.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Isaac Jr., Patrick, Leonard (Dawn), Billy Joe, Demonte Hicks and the one and only daughter, Pamela Hicks-King; grandchildren, Shauntria (LJ) Nelson, Leonard Harris, Dwaun Hicks, Leonard Hicks Jr., Tanisha Hicks, Montell Mickels, Tara Hicks, Alena Hicks, Vinny Biagi, Justin Wright, Verlando Woods, Jimell Woods, Rojelio Lopez, Maray Woods, Kyle & Koby Wright, Lorenzo Hicks and Collin Brake; one special great-grandchild, Amarrah"Big Mama" Dailey; brother, Raymond (Nancy) Portillo Jr.; Godson, Keith Belcher; 21 great grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
