Obituary for Aldo Ray Harris

Aldo Roy Harris, known as Petticoon, made his transition to be with God on September 29, 2020. Aldo was born in Toledo, Ohio to Betty Williams on May 24, 1963. In 1980, Aldo graduated from Scott High School where he learned to work on cars. In 1987, Aldo met and married the love of his life, Gloria Harris and made a family of his own with his four step-kids.

Aldo loved his family. He was always doing something for his nieces and nephews. He loved taking them bowling, riding them around in his car or even taking them to the store to but them something. He loved to play music, especially his favorite artist Michael Jackson. That’s the only time we could see his dance moves. He was a big fan of the Pittsburg Steelers Football Team. No one could tel him anything about his team that he didn’t already know. We know when his team lost to stay away from him. He was always there when we needed him and he was known and loved by many.

Aldo is preceded in death by his grandparents, Estella and David Thomas; his mother, Betty Lois Harris Williams; his father, Andrew Lee Williams; brother, Tyrone S. Williams and step-grand, Daisy Holmes.

Surviving is his wife, Gloria D. Holmes Harris; sister, Felicia F. Williams; brother, Kirk B. Williams; step-children, Joseph Holmes, Torri (Lanae) Holmes, Kenny Holmes, Lahkesha (Walter) Holmes, 16 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
