Preston J. Fontenet Sr., 75, was born August 12, 1943, in Franklin, Louisiana to Wilbert and Irene Fontenet. Preston retired from Dohler-Jarvis after 28 years due to illness. He departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Preston was married 50 years to Bernice (Lee) Fontenet. To this union two children were born, Preston J. Fontenet Jr. and Jennifer M. Wiley. Preston loved his family, blues, the Cleveland Browns, his Jehovah Witness family, and his wife's cooking.
Preston is preceded in death by his parents, sister, five brothers, and son-in-law.
Preston leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Bernice Fontenet; son, Preston (Vera) J. Fontenet Jr; daughter, Jennifer M. Wiley; brothers, Donnie (Idella), Henry (Eliza), Harold, from Verdunville, Louisiana, and Rayfield (Octavia) Fontenet from Franklin, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; four great grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
