Yvonne F. Lockett was born March 12, 1938. She entered her heavenly Father's peace, her eternal rest, on January 25, 2019. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, to the union of Ezekiel and Edith Smith. She was a graduate of Scott High School Class of 1955. She married Patrick H. Lockett. They were married for 62 years, and had three children; Barry, Michael, and Christopher.

She worked as a medical receptionist for 25 years with Dr.Roland Gandy. She was also bookkeeper for various churches and businesses. She was a lifelong member of First Church of God, where she served as an usher and bookkeeper. She will be deeply missed by her sister; Mary Simmons, brothers; Ezekiel (Margo) Smith, Otis (Michelle) Smith, David (Fran) Smith, sister-in-law; Nancy Glover, brother-in-law; Robert Lockett, and host of relatives and friends.

Yvonne had a host of friends, they know and we know who they are, thank you all. She has left us with memories that are precious, for her life was full of tenderness toward others, loving kindness and compassion, never wavering in her relations to others.
