Woodrow(Woody)Lee Ellis passed away Saturday December 3, 2016 at St Vincent Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 79
Woody was a loving husband and father, a great role model and provider. He loved to fish and camp. A member of the former Toledo Traveler's Club, Woody enjoyed weekend getaways and long summer vacations traveling the country in his motor home. An avid sports fan, he loved all sporting teams who's name began with the word Cleveland, the Browns topped the list. He also loved Ohio State. Woody worked 37 years at Jeep, retiring in 1997.
Preceded in death by his son Dannie Kaye Ellis, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years Henrietta. Sons Dwayne, Michael(Mapoo) Darrell(Rita). Daughter Diane. 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Special cousin Jean Means, relatives and friends.
Thank you Lord for blessing our lives with such a wonderful Husband and Dad. We will miss you immensely.
