James Day (1921-2003), Co-Founder

Mr. Day was a graduate of University of Arkansas and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1960. He was a Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Embalmer, Notary, and Co-founder of the House of Day Funeral Service. An Associate Minister of St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church, Rev. Day spent many hours visiting and encouraging the elderly, sick and shut in. He was also a WWII Veteran that was very active in community affairs, and father of Cassandra and Michael Day.
