Mary V. Gary was born on June 7, 1935 to Autress and Carrie (Coarse) Hulitt in Clinton, MS. She passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She graduated from Utica High School in Hines County, MS in 1953. She moved to Florida in 1971 and in 1973 she moved to Toledo, Ohio where worked for Toledo Stamping Company retiring in 1997. Mary worked for the Senior Nutrition Meals on Wheels, Toledo Public School as a crossing guard
and for the Toledo BIade Newspaper as a carrier until her health failed in 2017.

She was a member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church and later joining Mt. Zion Baptist Church where her husband William Gary was a member. She served on the Nurses Ministry and the Kitchen Committee. Mary later rejoined New
Light Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully on the Nurses Ministry, Kitchen Ministry, Custodian Engineering Ministry and the Welcoming Ministry.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and brother Actress Hulitt Jr.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories her husband William Gary; daughter Grace (Burnell) Williams of Virginia Beach, VA.; sons Mitcheal Cheatham of Seattle, WA., and Richard (Shawna) Cheatham; grandchildren Jamaree (Januaria) Ford of
Chesapeake, VA., Shirley Schwartz of St. Louis, MO., Burnell Williams Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA., Jesslyn Finn, and Mitcheal Cheatham Jr.; great grandchildren lan Hernandez of Chesapeake, VA., Tyra Hudson of St. Louis, MO., Eric Mays Jr., Pailee Murphy of St. Louis, MO., and James Mays; sisters Velma (Lonnie) Williams of Clinton, MS., Ida (Jimmie Lee) Edwards of Jackson, MS., Lula Hulitt of Jackson, MS., Edna Williams of Hammond, lN., and Nancy Robinson; brother Randolph (Lorene) Hulitt of Raymond, MS., special friends Gail Washington and Freddie Roberson, special great niece E'Ban Boyd, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and the New Light Church Family.
