Obituary for Valerie Leigh Clark

Valerie Leigh Clark
Valerie Leigh Clark made her transition from life to life everlasting on the early morning of Friday, July 20, 2018 at the precious age of 47. Valerie was the baby girl born to the late Lois Clark Norman and Sylvester Fane on July 10, 1971.

Living and residing in Toledo, Ohio, Valerie received her education from the Toledo Public School System and the School of Hard Knocks. Although life brought Valerie many trials and tribulations, she always managed to preserve and allow the resilience in her to shine.

Valerie's life is celebrated for her curious and loving spirit, her warmth, sensitivity and her sense of humor, not to mention, her heart of gold and smile that could be felt the moment she entered a room.

Throughout her life Valerie held many titles: daughter, grand-daughter, sister, mother, aunt, friend, and the title of grandmother is the one in which she thrived and was meant for as her grandchildren, Justin and Paris were her heart and joy as she had nothing but unconditional everlasting love for them.

Waiting at the gates of Heaven to welcome her home are her parents, grandparents, and most importantly her son, Justin Daytwon Knolly, whose untimely death brought Valerie immeasurable pain and grief.

Left to cherish her smiles, tears, cries, laughter, and most importantly her memories are her daughters Alesia Campbell and Amber (Lavon) Carter; brother William, Kenneth and Joseph Clark; sister Rena Campbell, and a loving host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family requests that you spend time with your children, celebrate with your loved ones and make a toast to enduring friendships, lifelong and beyond after all Valerie was the life of the party and would want that for you.
