Albert  Pickens
Albert Pickens, 59, was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Gwendolyn and Roscoe Ivory Pickens. Albert transitioned this lifeon July 21, 2018. He attended Jesup W. Scott High School, where he sang in the choir. He held many jobs throughout his life, mainly as a cook. He was a faithful member of St. Marks Baptist Church for many years, where he sang in the choir, served on the Usher Board, and he also helped out in various jobs for the church and his friends. He also loved playing cards and cooking.

Albert is preceded in death by both parents, Gwendolyn and Roscoe Pickens; grandparents, Clarence and Ethel Williams Sr., Earlee and Hattie Bell Ragans; brother, John Dorel Pickens; three uncles, Clarence, Williams Jr., Osko Ivory Pickens, and William Ragans; two aunts, Barbara Williams and Kathy Taylor.

He is survived by sisters, Roxanne (Keith) Pickens, Delores (Tony) Pickens, Ellen Pickens; brothers, Kevin (Andrea) Pickens, Vernon Williams, Alexander (Trina) Pickens; step-mother, Constance Quinn; aunt, Kim Creath; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and God-daughter, Donisha Gary, and his church family.
