Bobby R. Patterson was born on April 29, 1956, in Port Gibson, MS, to the union of Henry “Poboy” Patterson and Ruby (Storks) Patterson-Keeps. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio (Detroit Avenue Campus), at the age of 62.
Bobby was educated in the Toledo Public School System and was employed at Unicast and with the City of Toledo.
He was artistic, had a special love for children, fun-loving and outgoing. Bobby never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Curtsee Renee; grandson, Andre; and brother, Joseph.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Leslie Powell; sons, Andre and Marlon; daughters, LaShonda, LaTonya, Andrea, Shaneka, and Hope; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Cornelius (Sherry); sisters, Jessie, Gloria, Jewel, Gladys, Shonda, and Jasmine; special niece and nephew, Genise and Levie; four Godchildren; special friend, Victoria; and a host of other relatives and friends.
