Ruth Lynette  Goree
Ruth Lynette Goree was born March 17, 1950 to John and Virgie Goree, in Toledo, Ohio. She went home to be with the Lord on February. 5, 2018 at her home.

She graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School in 1968, “Once a bulldog, always a bulldog”. Ruth held various positions throughout her life, to include Champion spark plug, the United States Postal Service, and the Toledo Zoo.

She confessed Christ at an early age. Ruth was a member of St. Mark’s Missionary Baptist Church and Canaan Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by both parents and two sisters, Delores Goree and Ann Poellnitz.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Andre and Bryan Goree, 3 sisters, Beatrice Sawyer, Esther Brady, and Mary Barringer, brother-in-law William Poellnitz, 2 grandchildren, Andrea Goree, and Andre Goree, Jr. and 1 great-granddaughter Gabrielle Christian Goree. Also numerous neices, nephews and friends.
