Obituary for James L. Flunder

James L.  Flunder
James L Flunder (Jamie) went to be with the lord on January 2, 2018. Born to Bobbette Flunder (Monroe) and Robert Flunder Jr on September 5, 1950.

Jamie retired from Chrysler Corporation after having worked there for 35 years. Jamie enjoyed family vacations, and spending time with his wife and sons. He loved watching old westerns and WWE wrestling. He was an avid music lover of all genres and took pride in his automobiles.

He is survived by his loving wife Dawn (Chasteen) of 24 years, his sons James Lee Flunder II, Larry Lee Lanting, and Anthony James Lanting, grandchildren Kayden and Bianca Lanting, sisters Bobbie Hornbeck, Patricia Snipes of California, Betty Baucom, Diane Flunder, Linda Hill (Artis Smith), brothers Robert (Beverly), Michael, Jack (Lois), Tony (Selena), several nieces, nephews and best friend Ed Madison.

Preceded in death by his parents, his sister Eunice Witcher, son Jimmy Flunder and step son Christopher Howell and brother in law Ananias Snipes.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6th at the House of Day at 10:30 am. Final internment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations for his son James Lee Flunder II. Repass will be held at 1:00 pm at the Calvary Baptist church on Collingwood Blvd., Toledo.
