Floyd  Taylor Sr.
Floyd Taylor Sr was born November 23, 1935 to Lawyer and L.E. Taylor in New Hebron, MS. He departed this life on December 18, 2017 at the age of 82 in his home. Floyd accepted Christ at an early age. He was the oldest of two children. His parents along with him and his brother moved to Toledo, OH around 1950 where he received his education from Scott High School. He met and married Rebbie Lee Carter; two sons, Floyd Jr. and Timothy Taylor were born to their union. In 1980, he would marry Johnnie Feagins. Floyd was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church serving on the usher board for several years.

He was preceded in death by parents: Lawyer and L.E. Taylor; both ex-wives: Rebbie Lee Carter and Johnnie Feagins; brother: Troy C. Taylor and grandson: Da’Quon Lamar Taylor.

Floyd leaves to cherish his memories sons, Floyd Taylor Jr. of Richmond, VA, Timothy (Alfreda) Taylor of Toledo, OH, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Berniece Taylor of Toledo, OH, niece Tanya (Tyrone) Taylor-Draper of Willoughby Hills, OH, and a host of cousins and friends.
