Mr. Keith O. Nicholls "Bucky" was born in Barbados, West Indies to Mr. Keith Gilks and Mrs.Vera Gilks on April 7, 1961. He received his early education in Barbados . He played football, cricket, and other sports while there. He was of the Barbados Constabulary Force as a police officer for a number of years. He also grew up in The Anglican Religion (Church of England).

He migrated to Canada as a young man;.prior to his passing, he was employed with the city of Windsor, where he worked at The Public Library of Windsor for over 27 years.

He was united in holy matrimony to Sharon Sanderson on June 11, 2005 in Toledo, Ohio, that union produced no children.

Keith was an avid Cricket fan and visited Jamaica on several occasions to watch the West Indian Cricket team play. He was a member of the Caribbean Cricket Club of Windsor, and usually traveled with the team to various venues including here in Toledo.

Keith lived life to the fullest, enjoyed Reggae music, traveling, and other past time activities. He was always helping others on the weekends when he visited Toledo. He pride himself in cooking for various functions for the Cricket Club Association as well as making authentic Caribbean meals for others.. He loved children and at one time even considered adopting a little boy here in Toledo.

Keith got sick while in Canada, he was visiting his wife one week, he took a turn for the worst and had to be hospitalized. It has been a long hard battle, and he fought to the very end. He vowed he would beat the illness, but as we know on September 11, 2017, he succumbed and took his last breath at Hospice of North West Ohio. He was preceded in death by both his parents

Keith leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife Sharon Nicholls; son, E.J. Nussio;Daughter, Rosalind Nussio; both in Canada, two Grandchildren, one sister, nieces, and cousins, both in Canada and Barbados; and a host of dear friends.

Many thanks to the great nurses at St. Vincent Hospital, The Perrysburg Mercy Treatment Center, and the very diligent nurses and staff at The Hospice of North West Ohio.
