What does a daughter say when her father makes his transition into the after-life? She could write a book, maybe two or more. One thing that must be said is that no one can fill the place of a father - not in his lifetime and certainly not after his passing. Daddy Vin, I will cherish fond memories I have of you: Your stature that as a child made me feel that I was safe and secured with my father. Your smile, soft spoken voice, and the gift of singing which you used to glorify the Lord. These and other characteristics in you, all formed templates for some choices I have made in my life. These are also characteristics of yours that I see in me. Prayers are the answers to every unspoken word; Memories are the link between the past and a future without you Daddy Vin. And may love and the sharing of those memories serve as the bond between the heart of those you left behind. May your soul rest in peace. Your daughter Victoria Woodhouse-Barnes(affectionately called Marlene).
