Wiley Clifton Lambert was born May 26, 1935 in Carrollton, Georgia to Clifton Lambert (deceased) and
Ollie Lambert (deceased). He attended Libbey High School. Wiley worked atPepsi Cola for 42 years as a
Line Production Operator and in Maintenance Department retiring in 1993.
Wiley was an avid bowler, the last years of his league participation was with “The Young Seniors” and “Thursday Classic”. He recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Warren AME Church.
Surviving; wife of 30 years, Janis Lambert; children, Bradley (Marilyn) Lambert, Kathleen Mixon, Trina
(Ronald) Ricks and Tanisha Layson; siblings, Gail (Oscar) Byrd, William (Dana) Young and Roy (Jody)
Young. His daughter Diane Thompson preceded him in death. Wiley also leaves dearly loved stepchildren,
grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Monday, July 24, 2017 at Warren AME Church at 11:00am followed by funeral services at 12:00
noon. Rev. Otis Gordon pastor and officiate.
