Robert Lee Hobson, 68, went home to be with the Lord and Savior peacefully, Saturday, July 8, 2017, in Toledo, Ohio, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Robert was born on March 26, 1949, in Memphis, TN, Fayette County, Somerville, to Walter and Ella Mae Hobson.

Robert graduated in 1967, from Swanton High School, after High School, he was enlisted in the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War. After the war, he became employed by Toledo Edison, as a Mechanic, which he retired from.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ella Mae Hobson and brother, Codie Lee Hobson.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Nicole; children, Mechelle (Damion) Flunder, Jennifer Hobson, Robert Hobson, and Robert (Teri) Hobson, all of Toledo, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, Annie (Frankie) Thompson, of Swanton, Ohio; siblings, Helen (Francoise) Nemorin, of Baltimore, MD, Jerome Hobson, of Auroa, CO, Patricia (Daniel) Bush, of Swanton, OH, Russell and Christopher Hobson, of Dayton, OH; special friend, Jacqueline Hobson, and a host of relatives and friends

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017, at 11:00 am, preceded by a 10:00 am Wake, at The House of Day Funeral Service.
