Obituary for William Howard Holmes Jr.
William Howard Holmes Jr., 68, passed away peacefully May 5, 2017, at Flower Hospital, after
battling many health problems. A native of Montgomery, WV., he relocated to Toledo in 1989,
where he worked at The United Postal Service and Toledo Water Distribution.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Eleanor Holmes, brothers; Robert Lee
Holmes, Lonnie Holmes, sisters; Carol Ann Holmes and Robin Fuller.
Left to treasure the memories of William Holmes are his loving and devoted wife of 17 years Lori
Holmes, daughter Nicole Holmes, sons; Larry Walker Jr. and Dominique (Donnette) Hutchinson,
3 grandchildren, sisters; Cynthia Anderson, Constance (William) Mumford, Rosemary Holmes,
Linda (Eugene) Ogburn, and brother-in-law Albert Fuller along with a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017, from 7:00 - 9:00pm, at The House of Day Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., preceded by a 10:00 a.m. Wake service, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 831 N. Detroit Ave, Pastor Cedric Brock officiant, burial Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
