Gwendolyn Regina Roberts gained her wings on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the age of 63. Gwen was born in Toledo, OH on February 24, 1954 to Nolan and Mary Gladys Roberts.

Gwen was a beautiful, compassionate, generous, authentic, and classy woman whose smile lit up any room she entered. She always had a kind word and a warm hug to share. Her joy was her family she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She loved to ballroom dance and sing. Her sense of style was undeniable and she LOVED to shop. She was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church where she was an active member involved in multiple ministries and church events. She always gave back to her community being involved with several community projects and was a savvy business woman with many business ventures. Gwen was a supermodel on the runway and bowled like a PBA bowler. She was always open to trying new things and having a good time.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Ayanna Nimone Roberts and Morgan Ashley Williams; grandchildren, Keyanna Janae Jordan, Bella Ashlynn Guy and Logan Carter Guy; parents, Nolan (Ann) Roberts Jr. and Mary Gladys (Henry) Brooks; siblings, Ronald Roberts Sr., Beverly (Dale) Barnhill, Marcy (Mikal) Elamin, Nolan (Michelle) Roberts III, Shaunda (Daryl) Foster and Brian (Jenna) Roberts; beloved niece, Fionne Roberts Wright; special friend, George Moore and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 7:00pm -9:00pm, at The House of Day Funeral Service.

Services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017, at 12noon, preceded by an 11:00am Wake at Friendship Baptist Church, 5301 Nebraska Ave., Bishop Duane C. Tisdale, presiding.
