Obituary for Min. DeMarco E. Carter I

DeMarco Euneal Carter, I, was born, December 30, 1958, in Marianna, AK, to the union of the late Arvee and Ida Mae Carter, Sr. He transitioned on Thursday, was born in July 11, 2013, at UTMC in Toledo, Ohio. DeMarco graduated from Morrison R. Waite High School in 1976. Shortly after graduation, he attended the University of Toledo. He learned a trade in Plastering by his father. He worked at LMHA as a Renovation Specialist until he retired. DeMarco received his salvation at an early age. He attended People's Baptist Church, where he started under Pastor Curry's Ministry. Later he joined St. Paul Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor James H. Willis, Sr., where he served as Associate Minister. He also ministered to the sick and shut in and the incarcerated until his health failed him. DeMarco and Shirley Carter, I., were united in Holy Matrimony in September 2004. DeMarco was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, April Arnold-Miles, brothers, Deacon Harvey Carter, Rufus and Glen Whitaker, sisters, Edna Carter, Rebbie Taylor and Virginia Davis. DeMarco leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Shirley Carter; sons, DeMarco Euneal (Dominique) Carter, II, Evan Staunton, Ricky Richardson, and Romell Grier; daughters, Shanee Staunton and Christina Howard; brothers, Arvee, Jr., Quincy, Sr., Edward (Gloria), Calvin, Wayne, Timothy, Clarence, Ricky and James (Robin); sisters, Maggie, Frances, Sylvia, Brenda, LaVenia (Cornell), Eva (Robert), Precious, Joyce (Anthony), Murlene and Arlene; 10 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, from 4:00 - 6:00pm at the House of Day Funeral Service Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00am, preceded by a 10:00am at Wake, St. Paul Baptist Church.
