Obituary for James Earl Price

James E. Price of Toledo Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the age of 69. He was born on July 7, 1946, and cherished by his late parents Rody and Carrie Price. A graduate of Woodward High School, he worked for Chrysler Toledo Machine Plant in Perrysburg Ohio for 30 years. This beloved man was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and special friend. Enjoyed bowling, appreciated old-school rhythm and blues, avid football fan, and a former McKinley Elementary football coach. He was known as a fun-loving person with a warm, outgoing personality. To know him was to love him. He was a great father and proud grandfather who gave tender hugs and kisses with unconditional love. What will be greatly missed is his supportive wisdom, shared memories, and witty humor. He leaves to cherish his memories stepson, Eric J. Wilson; daughter, Mary L. Price; ex-wife, Patty (Wilson) Price; grandsons, Emmanuel B. Hills, Branden M. Cosper, and Alexander C. Gayle; siblings, Carline Willis, Frank (Betty) Rayford, Thelma (Barnette) Coleman, Patricia Livingston, Michael (Jeanette) Rayford, Denise (Ron) Bare, Freida Bays, Carole (Tim) Miller, Steven (Monica) Galloway, Denise Carr, and Carlette Carr; very special friend and caregiver, Mary Lee and her daughters, Chaynea Williams and Latesha Hicks; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rody and Carrie Price, and brothers, Milton Rayford, Gary Rayford, and Kevin Galloway.
