Obituary for Daisy Taylor

Our Condolence and prayers to the Taylor Family. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016, 12:00 pm at The House of Day Chapel. Daisy was the 7th child of the Washington family. She was born April 1,1947 in Eastover, Columbia South Carolina. She passed away Sunday May 29, 2016 she was 69. Daisy was a 1965 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School of Columbia, South Carolina, She also graduated from Columbia Commercial College and Tom P. Hanity School of Nursing in Panama City, Florida. She married Melvin Taylor on August 29,1969 . Daisy worked and traveled the world with her husband who was in the military. They moved to Toledo in September 1977 where her family currently reside. They have 2 children, son Steven M. Taylor and daughter Stephany M. Pettaway, and 3 grandchildren Donte’(PoPo), Demetres (Metres), Dominique (Sissy). Her sisters are Estelle, Kissie, Mary, Diana, and Sharon. Brothers Leroy, Westley, Frank, Andrew and Allen. Daisy worked for Unison Healthcare of Toledo,Ohio for 20 years and retired on July 1, 2010. Daisy Taylor became one Of Jehovah’s Witnesses Symbolizing her dedication by water baptism on June 5, 1999. She loved her God Jehovah and enjoyed sharing her belief with others. She remained faithful down to the end. Daisy attended the Maumee Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses,where she was loved by all, she will be dearly missed. The Family of Daisy Taylor would like to thank everyone for their kind words of comfort and loving support. We would also like to thank all those from Northwest Rehabilitation who participated in her recovery care.
