Obituary for Effie Nola Finley-Davis

Effie Nola Finley Davis, passed quietly into the arms of our Lord, on November 7, 2015. She was born in Batesville Arkansas, June 9, 1922, the youngest of six children, to Samuel and Bessie Finley. She graduated high school in Little Rock Arkansas and received a Bachelor of Science in Business, from Tennessee A & I, Nashville Tennessee. She was a distinguished charter member for over 70 years of Delta Sigma Theta Inc. Sorority. She was married to the love of her life, "Hank" Davis, together, they founded, the William H. Davis Realty Co. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Samuel, Richard, Carl and Gravelly, sister, Bessie Irene, beloved husband Hank and lovely daughter Nona Irene. She is survived by her daughter Effie F. Davis, Westerville Ohio, granddaughter Lisa N. Davis, Mableton Georgia, grandson Michael B. Davis, Whitehouse Ohio, niece Barbara Waddy, Cleveland Ohio, nephew, Gravelly Finley II, Miami Florida and grand nephew Gravelly Finley III, Oklahoma City Oklahoma. The family wishes to express our sincere heartfelt thanks to Northwest Hospice Center, Toledo Ohio for the professional care and comfort they gave to our loved one. Funeral services will be held on, Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 10:00am, preceded by a 9:00am Wake at the House of Day Funeral Service, Omega Services will begin at 9:30am. Reverend Charles Allen, Officiant. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery.
