Elizabeth Marie Yates, affectionately known as "Liz" passed away Feb. 24, 2015 at the age of 72. Liz was a longtime member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. She was known for her cooking, especially for her cakes. She is survived by her son, Ronald Jones; daughter, Renita James; granddaughter, Shlonda Jones; grandsons, Terrance Jones, Ja'juan Jones, & Jamal Freeman; adopted daughter, Trena Carter; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; special friend, Donald Yates; and a host of other loving family & friends. Funeral service are Wednesday March 4, 2015, 12:00 noon at Jerusalem Baptist Church preceded by wake at 11:00am. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-6:00pm at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel. Please sign register book at
