Condolence: Mr. Allen catered Sister Mary Joe's retirement party at Ladyfield School. He added so much to the event with his humor, honor and THE BEST FOOD ever served on the Notre Dame campus. We still talk about the extrodarnary man who we always looked forward to seeing wherever he set up shop. You were blessed to have such a wonderful person in your lives.

Condolence: Dear Mary and family,
I am saddened to read of George's passing. George entered my family's circle in the 70's when he painted for me on Pembroke. He then gave our sons their first jobs painting (Steve a good painter, Jeff not so much!) We enjoyed following his Mr. Big Stuff endeavors and eating his ribs. He brought joy and fun wherever he went and to whomever he encountered. I'll always remember him with great fondness. I know your memories will, in time, bring you comfort and peace.
God's blessings.

Condolence: On behalf of the Student African American Brotherhood (SAAB) National Headquarters and the thousands of students herein our network, we would like to encourage the spirits and hearts of the family of Mr. George Allen (aka: Mr. Big Stuff). Words cannot express our gratitude for having experienced his beautiful lfe and loving heart. Mr. Allen was a reverent man who loved the Lord and was certainly a "Man of Character" with a tremendous sense of humor. We are encouraged that many have been truly and richly been Blessed by the destiny he manifested in his 78 years on this eartlh. We know that he is in a "Better Place" ---a place we all long to be and hope to realized one day sooner or later. We understand that it is the Will of God that he has transitioned and that there is a human tie that has been broken which bleeds the heart in agony and pain. However, we are encouraged and consoled in the words of Jesus, who said, “I will NEVER leave thee nor forsake you”. May God Continue to Keep the Allen Family [e.g., Wife (Mary) and Daugther (Cassandra)] In His Loving and Embracing Arms and we urge the family to lean not unto their own understanding but to that of the Lord as they endure this Great Loss of Life. He will be forever missed, but His Legacy Lives On through his Sons (e.g., Rodney), Grandson (e.g., John, Jr., Vincent), Great Grandsons (e.g., John-John, Grayson) and so many more. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!! (Submitted by: Dr. Tyrone Bledsoe, Founder-CEO, SAAB National Headquarters, Toledo, OH)
