Howard Abernathy, 68, passed on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Howard worked as an IT Analyst for the State of Ohio and retired from Owens-Illinois after 30yrs. of service. He was an avid photographer and car aficianado. Howard was preceded in death by 1st wife, Cynthia Harris-Abernathy, father, Edward Abernathy, brother, Paul Abernathy, sister, Anita Davis; brother-in-law, & Archie Williamson. He is survived by wife, Sheryl; children, Lucretia (Robert) Lott, Howard II, and Shane (Angel); mother, Reba; sister, Linda Williamson; brother, Neal; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family & friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. and Homegoing service at 5:00 p.m. at The Tabernacle of Praise, 1217 Prouty Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43609.
